There are many fundraising ideas to get you started in planning your own event - but there are plenty more so see where your imagination takes you and please let us know what you are doing. Some ideas to get you started:
- Non uniform day - Give a donation to attend school / college in your own clothes.
- Have cake sale
- Fancy dress - Pay to go to work in fancy dress
- Guess the baby competition - photos of the staff / colleagues as babies.
- Fashion show
- Concert / Play / Musical Evening
- Host a quiz
- Fete
- Car boot sale
- Football - Five / seven a side football / rugby / hockey / etc.
- Sponsored walk / swim / cycle / run / silence
- Head shave - Organise to do it in front of an audience - get people taking donations whilst you are having your hair removed
- Offer to wash cars / mow your neighbour’s lawn / take their dog for a walk for a donation
- Organise a garden party with cake stall / bottle tombola / guess the weight of the cake / how many sweets in the jar
- Host a themed dinner party – charge your friends £5 to come along and have a little raffle or auction on the night
- Ebay your unwanted goods for cash
