Leaving a lasting Legacy to Wessex Heartbeat

This one of the most sensitive and difficult areas of our fundraising, but leaving a legacy or gift to Wessex Heartbeat in your will, could significantly help our ongoing work and continue to make a difference to the lives of cardiac patients in the Wessex Region.

When you write your will, your priority will of course be to ensure that your family and friends are provided for. Once you are happy that this is done, if you can think about leaving even a small amount in your will to Wessex Heartbeat, others in need will benefit from your generous gift.

Many people believe that it is only the wealthiest among us who are able to leave a legacy to charity, but you may be surprised to know that as many as 1 in 6 people in the UK choose to make this very thoughtful gesture, many of whom who would not have considered themselves as having been particularly financially wealthy during their lives.

Whether you have already made a Will or are considering it at the moment, Wessex Heartbeat would always recommend that you firstly arrange to see a solicitor to discuss your wishes. Writing a Will doesn't have to be complicated and by seeking professional advice, you can be sure that the process is made as easy as possible.
